October's Degustabox

I received October's Degustabox last week and again I wasn't disappointed with it's contents

First up was Brioche Pasquier sliced brioche loaf and pain au lait with choc chips. This is the first time I have tried anything from this brand. The pain au lait's were gorgeous. Lot's of choc chips and lovely soft bread. These are great for both breakfast or just as a snack. The brioche loaf had a lovely sweet taste to it, not like your normal everyday loaf. This was great just eating a slice as it is or would be nice in a pudding. These are priced at £1.69 for the loaf and £1.60 for a pack of 8 pain au lait

Next up is Dr. Oetker fine dark cocoa powder priced at £1.89 for 3 packs of 25g and the premium 90% extra dark chocolate priced at £2.49. I haven't tried these yet, but I have used other Dr. Oetker products before and always liked them. Might try my hand at making a chocolate cake or some muffins at the weekend with these.

Then we have 2 products from Bear. We got Bear paws which are fruity snacks which are great for kids. my kids love these and we have brought them before. They are priced at 55p a pack. The Bear alphabites cereal was actually a sample present included in the box. We haven't tried these yet, but I know my kids will like them.

Special K cracker crisp in barbecue flavour. We love crisps in our house, but we do try and stick with the healthier kind. These have 60% less fat than other crisps and taste great. They are priced at £1.29 for an 80g sharing pack, but you can also buy them in small single packs or multi packs of 4. They also come in Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar, Sour Cream & Onion and Sweet Chilli. We will be buying these again

The Solo toasted marshmallow creme is delicious!! You can use it in lot's of different ways. Straight out the tub with a spoon, on toast, in desserts or my favourite way, a big dollop on my hot chocolate. This is available to buy from www.americansoda.co.uk and are priced at £1.99 a tub.

I also have a discount code for you. You can get 10% off at American Soda if you quote code : DGBOX10

And a great little healthy snack are these Get Buzzing natural flapjack energy bars. They are priced at £1.30 each. And if you go to www.getbuzzing.co.uk you can get 10% off your order if you quote code : newbuzz10

We haven't tried these Blue Dragon sweet chilli sauces yet. But they look delicious. And there are quite a few ways to use them and make different meals. They are priced at £1.39

This is one for my husband. Kent's Kitchen Bengal meal kit. I don't really like spicy food and the sauce also contains chicken stock, so I won't be eating it has I'm a vegetarian. But my husband loves things like this, the spicy the better. Each meal kit is priced at £2.50

The Enhance drinks look great. Still haven't tried this yet, but you just add a squirt to water to give it some flavour and it should make up 32 glasses. This is priced at £2.49 and there are 4 different flavours in total to try.

I was so excited when I open my degustabox to find a pack of yummy Jelly Belly jelly beans!! I love them!!! This pack contains 20 different flavours, my favourite was the buttered popcorn, it was delicious. I did find that the pack seemed to have a lot of liquorice ones, but I didn't mind as I like liquorice, but I know a lot of people who don't. The worst ones were the coconut. I hate coconut and my 3 kids didn't like this flavour either. This pack is priced at £2.50, it was a lovely treat and will be buying again

there was also a voucher in the box for some Benecol yoghurts but I haven't used it yet.

you can get your own monthly box at www.degustabox.com/en and I also have a coupon code for you! Use code : Z48ZP  to get £3 off your box

You can also find degustabox on Facebook and Twitter

Which product in the October's Degustabox would you like to try the most?
