Celebrate National Milk Day
With the first flavoured organic milk!
National milk day is on 15th January 2015 and Daioni are celebrating by releasing some new flavored milk. The come in strawberry, chocolate and banana and I got to try all three. And I must say they are really delicious. And best of all these are organic and prefect for lunchboxes.
"Daioni, the Welsh organic milk brand is celebrating National Milk Day with its new range of flavoured milk on the 11th January 2015. So grab a glass yourself a glass and pop it into your child’s lunchbox to give and them and yourself a calcium boost.
Studies have shown that only 25% of boys between 9 and 13 years old are getting enough calcium, and less than 10% of girls consume the necessary amount, these shocking statistics are particularly alarming as critical bone growth occurs between the ages of 11 and 15[1].
Daioni have introduced the first organic flavoured milk cartons to ensure that children enjoy milk more and with the new government guidelines coming into place in 2015 to reintroduce milk into schools, it is clear that we should be doing our bit to encourage this.
These handy cartons of dairy goodness are low in fat, sugar and free from all artificial colouring and come in 3 delicious flavours, Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana.
Historically, milk day celebrates the day when milk was first delivered in glass bottles. This allowed milk to stay fresher for longer, enabling more people to enjoy all the benefits milk provides. The day is recognized widely within schools and coffee shops all over the world and provides a perfect excuse to try Daioni.
In handy 200ml cartons or 250ml cartons, Daioni Flavoured Organic Milk Drinks are available in Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana on Ocado, at independent delis and cafes nationwide with an RRP of £0.79p for 200ml and £0.99p for 250ml"
